Lessons
Songwriting cannot be taught in a textbook -
students must learn it by doing it.
With that in mind, Zippy Toons lessons combine developmental & creative exercises that build the foundations of songwriting, beginning with topline writing.
After mastering structural basics, students learn how to
craft unique titles, write compelling lyrics, compose ear-catching melodies, and ultimately, create chord changes.
Classes limited to 9 students. Instrumental, vocal, or music theory training not required. All classes taught via Zoom.

As the founder of Zippy Toons, she shares her global songwriting techniques with aspiring songwriters & musicians of all levels.

We Teach Topline Songwriting Using Natural Musical
Instincts!
Zippy Toons is proudly certified as a Woman-Owned Small Business
Each plan includes ten (10)* group Zoom lessons - one (1) 60-minute lesson per week. Each class has a maximum of nine (9) students. Students may drop in to (1) optional instructor "Office Hours" session per week for extra help. All students (or their parents) must be able to access Zoom and Google Drive, and have access to a "Voice Memos" or similar free voice recording app. This course is intended solely as an enrichment program and no grades, reports, or school credits are given unless designated as a homeschool elective. Although encouraged for this course, prior music theory or music education is not required. All students must cooperate in a non-judgmental, supportive learning environment; the instructor reserves the right to terminate a student's enrollment if misconduct is displayed. All student works/copyrights are fully student-owned. Credit card payments are processed weekly for ten (10)* consecutive weeks. Students/parents may cancel course subscriptions at any time with a written notice.
*May be eight (8) lessons / weeks if course is designated as an 8-week accelerated program.
